We will meet before daylight at the boat launch that was predetermined the day before. We will get everyone's gear loaded up into the boat, go over a few rules and how things are going to work for that day, and then we will head out into the lake. Depending on the weather and where the birds are at we will be hunting anywhere from 100 yards to shore or 10 miles offshore. Once we get to the spot, we will set up the layout boat and begin to set decoys round it. Once everything is set, we will put one guy in the layout boat and the rest of the crew will stay in the main boat. Guys will be rotated in and out of the layout every 45 minutes to an hour depending on how the birds are flying that day. The tender boat will be within a couple hundred yards of the layout at all times too keep everyone safe and pick up birds. Once our time is up we will pick everything back up and head to the dock!
